Our Exhibition Journey: IGHE & IBTE 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia

Release time: 2026-08-26

From 20 to 22 August 2026, our team attended IGHE and IBTE trade exhibitions at Jakarta International Expo (JIEX), Indonesia. As a professional glass packaging manufacturer with over 18 years of export experience, we travelled to Jakarta not only to meet buyers at the show, but also to prepare our product display and visit local clients after the exhibition closed.

Booth Preparation and On-site Meetings

Before the show opened, our team completed full preparation work. We arranged product samples including glass jars, spirit bottles, cosmetic containers and matching lids, prepared product brochures and quotation sheets, and set up our display area for face-to-face business discussions.

During the three busy exhibition days, we met with many importers, brand owners and distributors from Indonesia and neighbouring Southeast Asian countries. We introduced our food-grade glass packaging series and discussed local requirements on bottle sizes, surface finishes, sealing performance and bulk order lead times.

What Indonesian Clients Told Us

Many local buyers shared honest feedback during our conversations.

A preserved-food producer from Jakarta said our thick-wall glass jars looked solid and suitable for their long-shelf-life jam and chutney products. A honey brand owner mentioned they had been struggling with inconsistent quality from previous suppliers, and they were looking for a manufacturer who could deliver the same standard for every container shipment. Several cosmetic brand buyers showed strong interest in our private-label services, especially silk-screen printing and custom-colour lids that could help their products stand out on retail shelves.

We carefully recorded every requirement and suggestion from these conversations.

Post-Show Client Visits

Right after the exhibition closed, our team did not fly back immediately. We arranged offline visits to several key Indonesian clients in the Jakarta area.

We toured their warehouses and production facilities, discussed ongoing order projects, and talked through production schedules, packaging standards and sea-freight logistics solutions. During these face-to-face meetings, customers further confirmed what they had mentioned at the show. They appreciated our stable glass quality and flexible wholesale terms, and several expressed interest in launching new product lines with our glass bottle and jar solutions in the coming months.

What This Trip Means for Us

This Jakarta trip combined exhibition participation with real-world client field visits, giving us clear first-hand insight into Southeast Asia’s packaging market demands. We have recorded growing trends for preserved-food glass jars, liquor bottles and cosmetic glassware, which will guide our product adjustments, cost optimisation and service improvement for Indonesian customers.

We keep expanding our presence across Southeast‑Asian markets and gain deeper understanding of local packaging preferences through on‑site engagement. This valuable field experience will guide our product adjustments, cost optimisation and service improvements for Indonesian customers.
